Cryptocurrencies are going to be a hot topic this Christmas season, and possibly a polarizing topic.

Before Christmas eve, I will be covering a number of perspectives on crypto, interleaving with explanations when necessary, with two purposes:

  1. Explaining crypto at a fundamental level, and by analogy. It may not be the best way, but it may be the simplest.
  2. Providing links to short perspectives, to save myself (and possibly you as well) from holding the same conversations repeatedly.

In 2022 there will be other introductory materials in a similarly concise format, and eventually this newsletter will not be only about cryptocurrencies. We need to look at a wider area to find every year 26+ evergreen matters that mainstream leaves aside.

As with everything else, there are already numerous materials online. Exchanges like Coinbase and Gemini, YouTube channels like Coinbureau and Finematics, and many others provide from simple to advanced and detailed explanations.

For bite sized text1, continue reading here.

Note: occassionally the text may go deep and may be hard to follow, but will remain on the short side.

I write to have links to point at when discussing something (DRY). Topics around computers, AI, and cybernetics, i.e. anything.
